Zona was born on May 27, 1939 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Zona is survived by her daughter, Betty (Steve) Slinger, sons: Jim Middlebrooks and Bobby (Sarah) Middlebrooks, grandchildren: Dina Brown, Sam Middlebrooks, Mikey Middlebrooks, Cody Hodges, Cory McClain, and James Slinger. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from noon until 4:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
