Winfield Scott Metsker Jr., 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023.
He was born on August 19, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Winfield "Winnie" and Eullema "Judy" (Kessinger) Metsker.
Scott was a retired Iron Worker with the Iron Workers Union Local #70. Scott was a loving family man that enjoyed spending time with those he loved. A man of faith; he was a former Deacon at Shively Christian Church. He will be remembered for his caring demeanor toward others, he was even a CASA Social Worker. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to the gun range and watching UK Basketball.
Scott is survived by his loving fiancé, Mindy Smith, daughters, Jennifer (Izaiah) Reynolds, Emily (Chris) Carpenter, and Makayla (Nathan) Tindal, grandchildren, Destiny (Austin) Tinker, Elijah Tinker, Brevin (McKenzie) Tinker, Sean Carpenter, Peyton Carpenter and Avery Carpenter, great grandchildren, Jayden Tinker, Phoenix Tinker, and Kendrick Tinker, his sisters, Kim (Mike) Hayes and Pam Cook, and long with a niece and two nephews that will miss him very much.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, April 21st at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Friday, at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in Scott's 's memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
