Wilma Thorne Stuart
January 19, 1924 — September 7, 2012
Wilma Thorne Stuart, age 88 of Shelbyville, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012. She was formerly employed with Reynolds Aluminum, Children's Hospital and Pleasant Grove Hospital. She was a member of the Eastern Star and member of Beechmont Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; her sisters, Almena Myer, Billie Lucille Eder, Thelma Walters; brother, Roy Thorne.
Mrs. Stuart is survived by her loving son John (Cheryl); sister, Bernice Thorne; grandchildren, John and Joshua Stuart. Also surviving are a host of nephews and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Penn Run Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 - 7:00 p.m.
