Wilma Jane (Goodman) Pence, 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
Wilma was born on December 1, 1940 in Warren, Ohio (Trumbull County). Wilma was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in the medical field during the Vietnam War. She was a faithful member of Woodland Baptist Church-Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, choir, kitchen committee, day care, and deacon. She was an active adult Girl Scout for over 50 years-troop leader, committee member, camp volunteer, and many other roles.
Wilma enjoyed playing cards and board games, reading Harlequin Romance Novels, doing handcrafts (tatting, crocheting knitting), watching game shows, and spending time with her family-especially her grandchildren.
Wilma is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Everett Pence; their children, Kerry Pence Morris, Kevin Charles Pence, Brian Keith Pence, and Jason Earl Pence (Sandra); her sister Barbara Ann Goodman Victurine; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; along with extended family members.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Woodland Baptist Church (809 North Pope Lick Road Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
