Willis Gordon "Dub" Nash, age 83 of Simpsonville, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014. He was an US Army Veteran. He was a member and former deacon of Long Run Baptist Church, and was an avid UK fan. Dub was formerly employed by both Nash Plumbing and Ratterman Plumbing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cleda Phillips Nash; and his parents, Robert and Lola Logsdon Nash; and his brother, Ernest Nash.
Mr. Nash is survived by his loving children, Janell Swigert (Michael), Tony Nash (Karen) and Scott Nash (Beverly); grandchildren, Michael David Swigert (Tammy), Mark Swigert, Daniel, Samuel, Phillip, Shelby, Traci and Taylor Nash; great-grandchildren, Dale Swigert and Kaden Nash; brother, John Nash (Shirley); sister, Deloris Smith (Charles); and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be at 11:30am Friday, October 3, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial in Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, KY. Visitation will be 2-8pm Thursday, October 2nd and after 10am Friday until time of service at the funeral home.
