Willie O'Neal Jones

February 17, 1939 — July 20, 2014

Willie O'Neal Jones, 75, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014. A U. S. Army veteran, Willie retired from International Harvester in Louisville. He was a member of the 19th and Cedar Church of God in Christ in Louisville.

He was born on February 17, 1939 in Springfield, Tennessee to the late Ernest Coleman and Beatrice (Woodard) Johnson. Willie is also preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Fry.

Willie is survived by his children, Malcomb, Neal, Jeffery, Gabriel, Peter, and Joey Jones, Joannne Black, and Elizabeth "Dutchess" Jones; siblings, Dyann Fowler, Rosie Slate, Earnestyne Russell, Henry Johnson, Brenda Johnson, Ann Johnson, Deborah Hobbs, and Stevie Johnson; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM Monday, July 28, 2014 at Miracle Temple (2208 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky). His Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Monday at the church. Burial will take place at Kentucky Veterans' Cemetery Central on Tuesday at 1 PM.
