William Charles Vandeventer, Jr.

William Charles "Bill" VanDeVenter, Jr., 63, passed away on August 7, 2021. Bill was an avid bowler at Dixie Bowl, winning several awards with his proudest moment bowling a perfect 300 game. Bill enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and going to Ohio Valley Speedway. One of Bill's greatest past times was listening to his favorite music. Most importantly to GrandBill was spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Charles VanDeVenter, Sr.; his mother, Francis Smith and childhood best friend, Moose.

Bill is survived by his son, Robert (Amelia) VanDeVenter; daughter, Tasha VanDeVenter; grandchildren, Jareth "JoJo" VanDeVenter and Aidan VanDeVenter; sisters, Kay Cranmer, Melinda Staten, Doris VanDeVenter-Mascaro, Mary Propes, Karol VanDeVenter; and best friend, Jay Handy.

Bill will be laid to rest alongside his mother and father at a later date at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
