William Randy Smith Sr., 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Randy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He always loved hunting, fishing, going to the casino, working on old cars, a collector, and watching his old western shows. Randy will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
He was born on August 31, 1951 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky to Walter and Kathleen (Martin) Smith. He is preceded in death by his Father, Walter Smith, Mother, Kathleen Martin Hodge, Brothers, Walter Smith, Jr., Kenneth Smith, Charles Hodge, and Ray Hodge.
Randy is survived by his loving Wife of 12 years, Kayla Marie Smith, Daughter, Lisa Smith; Son, William Blake Walter Smith; Granddaughter, Savannah; Brother, Clyde L. Smith; Sisters, Janette Francis, Patsy Comer, Imogene Elliott, Ruby Hodge, and Mony Hodge; Mother and father-In-Law, Judy and Vincent Vanover, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
The family will be having a celebration of life a service at a later date.
