William T Robinson

William "Billy" T Robinson, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. Billy was born to the late James and Anna Mary Robinson in Louisville, Kentucky on March 16, 1950.

Billy graduated from Ahrens Trade School, class of 1968. After being best friends in high school and reuniting later in life, Billy married Roberta "Bobbi" Thomas in 1992. Billy was a proud member of the Clarksdale community. He graduated from University of Louisville with his Bachelor's degree in finance. He worked as a self-employed paint contractor in both commercial and residential projects. Later in life, he was a substitute teacher with Jefferson County Public Schools.

Billy loved to sing 60's Motown Karaoke at Check's Café, being outside enjoying the pool, and cherishing the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Billy is preceded by his best friend, Gary Wallace (KIA, Vietnam), and his siblings, James Robinson Jr., Robert Robinson, and Anna Mary Stevens. Billy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Roberta "Bobbi" Robinson and her children, Alicia Rae (Mark) Ohlmann; his children, Billy Robinson and Gary Robinson; his grandchildren, Emilee (Ivan) Gonzalez, Malorie (Nick) Ohlmann, and Nathan Ohlmann; his great-grandchildren, Trace, Blakelee Rae, and Charlee Jane; his siblings, Amelia Stokell, Mary Jo Blackwell, Paul (Susie) Robinson, and Loretta Robinson; his four-legged companion, his dog Maggie Mae, and a host of family and friends who will continue on his legacy.

Visitation will take place on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) from 1:00pm – 7:00pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 4:00pm. Billy's final resting place will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
