William Perkins

William "Bill" Perkins, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Bill was a lover of gospel music and over the years many people were blessed by his singing, especially his mother Marie who was so proud of her boys "Billy, Timmy, and Dougie".

He was born on May 15, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to Carl and Marie (Sallee) Perkins. He is preceded in death by his Father, Carl H. Perkins, Jr., Mother, Marie Perkins, and Daughter, Letitia Perkins.

William is survived by his loving Wife of 57 years, Ruth Ann Perkins; Children, Diana (Chris) Richter and Philip (Amanda) Perkins; Grandchildren, Bethany (Ben) Voight, Eric (Rebecca) Richter, Jacob (Lauren) Richter, Elizabeth Perkins, and Luke Perkins; Great-Grandchildren, Elijah Richter, Lincoln Voight, Isaiah Richter, Brooks Richter, and Maliah Richter; Brothers, Timothy (Paula) Perkins and Douglas (Karen) Perkins, as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Gospel Kingdom Church, (4742 Cane Run Rd ). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, at Gospel Kingdom Church with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
