He was born on October 5, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles Redmond and Wilma Patterson. He is preceded in death by his Father, Charles Redmond, Mother, Wilma Jean Patterson, Siblings, Charlotte Patterson, Richard Patterson, Donald Patterson, Anna (Redmond) Sloss, and Charles Lee Redmond: In Loving Memory, Darren Lauderdale.
William is survived by his loving family, Niece and Care Giver, Yolanda (Robert Glenn Jr.) Redmond-Glenn, Niece, Tracy Crenshaw, and Niece, Kimberly (Rashaun) Smith; Great-Niece, Diamond Kindel; The Redmond Siblings; The Colette Family; Friends, Stephanie Smiley-Clayton, Paula Guinn, Mechele (Richard) Smith, Donna Cook, Arnetta Wilbanks, and Larry Crenshaw, all who were special to him.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
