William Owen Coley, Sr.
March 26, 1938 — October 7, 2013
William Owen "Bill" Coley, Sr., 75, passed away on October 7, 2013. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved watching the U of L Cardinals. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter's and 3 great grandson's.
Bill is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Gertrude Coley and his mother, Alice Duffy.
Bill is survived by his son, William (Terry) Owen Coley, Jr.; granddaughter's, Alexis (Andrew) Elam, Holli Coley, Margaret Coley and Hannah Coley; great-grandson's, Cole Justin, Kaden and Kingston; father, Richard Duffy, Sr.; brothers, Mike (Diane) Duffy and Rich Duffy, Jr.; sister, Bea Duffy and many nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Thursday, October 10, 2013, from 5pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 6100 Dutchmans Ln, Louisville, KY 40205.
