William Baxter McKenzie, 73, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on December 14, 2012.
Baxter was born on March 4, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee to Leah Daugherty & the late Frank McKenzie. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Morris McKenzie.
Baxter is survived by his wife of 29 years, Terri Lee (Vausha) McKenzie; daughters, Michelle Hussung (John), Angela Lori (Jeremy), & Marsha Stephens; mother, Leah McKenzie; brother, Horace McKenzie (Betty); sister, Rita Hunter (Mike); 9 grandchildren, John Mills, Marleigh Mae, Andrew, Sierra, Jalynn, Jordan, Leanna, Aprile, & Meghan; 5 great-grandchildren, Nolin, Leah, Brooklynn, Braedon, & Maeson.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 2 to 7 PM at Parkway Southern Baptist Church (2508 Corydon Pike, New Albany, IN). Cremation was chosen following Baxter's wishes.
