William Scott Luttrell Jr.

William Scott Luttrell, Jr., 44, of Scottsburg, Indiana, returned home to the Lord on Saturday, November 5, 2022. He fought a good fight and was surrounded by family as he walked from this life to walking with Jesus. Scotty was a creative, hands-on craftsman, who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed basketball, NASCAR, and dirt track racing. He was a man of strong faith and continued to witness and uplift others even during his tough battle. Above all, he was devoted to his family and was a loving father, husband, and son.

He was born on February 20, 1978, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to William Scott and Sylvia (Vessels) Luttrell.

Scotty is survived by his loving wife, Goni Luttrell; daughter, Melea Luttrell; sons, Jace and Jarin Luttrell; father, William Scott Luttrell, Sr.; mother, Sylvia Luttrell; sister, Michelle Coulson; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, and from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions with burial to follow at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens in New Albany, Indiana.

The family requests that contributions in Scotty's memory be made to Goni Luttrell for his children's college fund (599 North Boatman Road, Scottsburg, IN 47170).
