William Arthur Leach

William Arthur "Billy" Leach, 54, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023. He was a 1987 graduate of Jeffersonville High School and served as a volunteer firefighter for over 25 years, having worked for McCulloch and Harrison Township Fire Departments. He was an avid golfer and was incredibly fond of his Basset Hounds, Belle, Samson, Chase, and Chelsea.

He was born on January 17, 1969, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to William Leach and Carol (Brockman) Carl. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Stewart; and father-in-law, Wayne Klotz, Sr.

Billy is survived by his wife of 28 years, Tina (Klotz) Leach; brother- and sister-in-law, Lance and Cynthia Stewart; mother-in-law, Bonita Klotz; 12 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces, -nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 10:00 a.m. His funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with cremation to follow. Billy will be laid to rest privately at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
