William Edward Lambert

William "Billy" Edward Lambert, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.

He was born on November 19, 1950 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Edward and Virtie (Beasley) Lambert. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jason Edward Lambert and his siblings, Vickie Eddington and Richard Lambert.

Billy was a private person that worked hard and took care of his family. He will be forever missed and loved by the ones that loved him most.

Billy is survived by his loving family, daughter, Jamie (William Masden) Lambert, grandchildren, Emma Lambert, Eva Lambert, Blaine Lambert, Rachel and great granddaughter, Juno; niece, Shannon (Louie) Cecil, great nephews and nieces, Dyllin Brewer, Bryna Cecil and Trey Cecil, along with a host of family and friends to cherish his memory.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, September 11th at Newcomer Cremations Funerals & Receptions Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service celebrating Billy's life will take place on Tuesday, September 12th at 11:00 am at the funeral home, he will then be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

The family requests that contributions in Billy's memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
