William Ian Hunter

William I. Hunter, 74, of Corydon, Indiana returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Bill worked for the Kroger Company and the Creasy Company in Louisville, Kentucky. He retired from SuperValu based out of Champaign, Illinois in 2001.

Bill was born on January 17, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William and Catherine (Wynne) Hunter. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Harold Hunter.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Judith E. (Newell) Hunter; daughter, Mary Ellen Stalnaker (Mike); grandchildren, Natasha and Chad Stalnaker; . sister-in-law, Mary Hunter

Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM Friday, March 21, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). His Liturgy of the Word will take place at 1 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
