William L. Helm

William L. Helm, a devoted father, loving grandfather, compassionate brother, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully on November 21,2024, in Louisville, KY, with his loving family by his side. Born on September 6, 1946, in Louisville, William was a proud graduate of Lincoln Institution, a milestone that laid the foundation for a life dedicated to hard work and family values.

For many years, William worked diligently at Derby City Manufacturing, where he became known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Beyond his professional achievements, his proudest accomplishments were raising his beautiful family, instilling in them the values of love, respect, and perseverance.

William had a zest for life that extended beyond his work. He had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed traveling across the United States while driving an 18-wheeler. He cherished the moments spent with his family and friends, creating lasting memories that will be fondly remembered.

William is survived by his daughters Tiffany Mitchell (Larry) and Tammy Helm-Fletcher, who carry forward his legacy of love and resilience.

He was predeceased by his father James Robert Helm, mother Beulah Hughes, and son Torin Helm, whose memories continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Visitation will be held on December 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, located at 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243.
