William Bernard Harris, Jr.

William Bernard "Nick" Harris, Jr., 74, passed away on November 26, 2022. He was a veteran of the United States Army. During his service he earned multiple medals and ribbons. Nick achieved the rank as a Staff Sergeant proudly serving his country. He worked at Ramsi's Cafe for many years and later retired from Golden Living Nursing Home. Nick enjoyed watching sports; especially UofL basketball. He loved spending time with his family and friends; especially spoiling his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eldora Harris; parents, William Bernard and Floretta Harris, Sr; brother, Vernon Davis; sister, Viola Morris and his grandson, Stepfon Harris.

Nick leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Simona (Marcus) Minter and Otelia Harris; grandchildren; Wakeshia (Kia) Harris, Sierra (George) Harris, Dercoya Bolds, Aundreonta Harris, Jy'ozman Harris, Orion Harris, Oterious Harris and Isiah Harris; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Brenda Harris; sister-in-law, Linda Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, December16, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 10am-11:30am with a celebration of Nick's life beginning at 11:30am.

Nick will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N. Dixie Highway, Radcliff, KY, with graveside services beginning at 1:30pm.
