William David Hack

William David "Dave" Hack, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Dave was a loving and devoted husband, father, and Poppy. He was a Christian by faith and a member of Cedar Springs Church of Christ. Dave was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren. Most importantly, he was a family man and loved providing for his daughters and making memories with his grandchildren. Dave will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on July 9, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Geneva (Young) Hack. He is preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Hack; and brother, Michael Hack.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Judy Hack; daughters, Frances (Jesse) Landers, Jessie (Jeff) Gavril, and Megan (Natalie) Wermuth; father, William E. Hack; grandchildren, Andrew Landers, Shelby Brown, Kaya Landers, Jackson Landers, Brother, Ed (Joyce) Hack; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of his life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Dave's memory be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
