Grether, William G. "Gary", 72, husband of Susan Mullen, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023.
Born in Louisville on January 26, 1951, he was a son of the late William and Patricia Grether.
He was a member of Middletown Christian Church.
Gary was retired from Phillip Morris after 32 years of service.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his son Scott, Cindi Marie Grether; and his sister, Sharon Barry.
Other than his wife Susan, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Scott Grether; his granddaughter, Ruby "Cassidy" Grether; his grandson, Phoenix; his brother, Wayne Grether (Angie), and two sisters, Brenda Grether and Patti Grether; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218.
