William Gray Jr.

William "Billy" Gray Jr., 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021. Billy was a jovial person who always had laughter and joke. He was an avid University of Louisville fan, and loved watching sports. He Graduated from Flaget High School and was a part of the 1967 State Football Championship Team. Billy worked for the K & I Railroad and later for Norfolk Southern Railroad until his retirement. He was Firefighter before going to the Railroad. Billy was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on November 5, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Lillian (Young) Gray Sr. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sister, Anita Holt, and Brothers, Leonard Gray Sr, and Eric Gray.

Billy is survived by his loving Wife of 40 years Vivian McLemore-Gray, Sons, Terrance (Tawanna) Gray, Andre Gray, William (Shajuanda) McLemore, Cedric Gray, Daughters, Gambia Flemister, Tyshonda Edwards, and T'Andra Brown, Sisters, Denise (Ronald) Gray-Hunter, and Debra Gray Bedinger. Billy also leaves behind to cherish his memory 21 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
