William G. "Gary" Mattingly, 61, of Louisville passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, William Shurby Mattingly and Mary Celestine (Tean) Mattingly and his brother, James Allen Mattingly.
Gary is survived by his loving wife and son, Phyllis Ann Mattingly and William Chad Mattingly (Tracy); two grandchildren, Jada Renee Mattingly and Jake Gregory Mattingly; his brothers and sisters, Butch (Sandy) Mattingly, Danny (Janet) Mattingly, Sissy Mattingly, Pat (Ken) Hamilton, Lisa (Terry) Burks, Janet (Kevin) Abrams, Tony Mattingly and Billy (Karla) Mattingly; 17 nieces and nephews and his aunt, Betty Miller.
Gary's visitation will be Monday, December 2, from 12:00pm-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) with funeral services beginning at 7:00pm.
To our loving brother, you have always been a great brother and friend to all of us. We had lots of good times throughout the years, especially at the old camp at the lake. We love you and will miss you dearly.
Gary has many life long friends and will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
