William Thomas Fraser

William Thomas Fraser, 94, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. He was born on October 8, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan.

William is survived by his wife, Jo Anne J. Fraser, daughter Lori Connerly, step-children Carol Anne Nickell and James M. Nickell. He is also survived by nephews Donald E. Fraser, Jr., Raymond Thomas Fraser (Valerie), James E. Fraser (Sally), Windy Rawthier (Charles) and great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Shirlee Fraser, daughter Cheri Marks, nephew Larry Fraser and parents William E. Fraser and Marian Fraser.

William was a registered Pharmacist for fifty five years working for Fraser Drug in Detroit, Michigan, Echard Drug Company in Charlotte, North Carolina, Taylor Drug and Kroger Company in Louisville, KY for twenty two years. William was a 32 Degree Mason, Lodge 0172 in Dearborn, Michigan. He was a Navy Veteran 1945 in World War II and ten years in the Navel Reserve. He was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church.

Williams interests were Ham Radio, power boating and racing, water safety, gardening and a high score bowler.

The family will remember him for his love of service and strong work ethics. Also, his caring and faithfulness to his family.

Williams family would like to give their upmost appreciation to the staff at Baptist East Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit and Hosparus for their most special care for William.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions 235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243. Cremation has been chosen per William's wishes and he requested no services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Dementia Organization of Louisville, KY.
