William Leon Fields
April 21, 1951 — February 22, 2017
William Leon Fields, 65, of Louisville, went to be with his Heavenly Father on February 22, 2017. He was an avid U of L fan and he loved to play cards and dominos with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Booker T Fields; mother, Mary Louise Bryant; siblings, Ronnie, Peggy Ann, Collette Johnnie and Joyce.
William is survived by his daughters, Ratonia Fields and Chenae (Antyone) Davis; grandchildren, Whitney (AJ Lewis) Everett, Ashley (DaChareon) Johnson, Wesley Harris, Courtland Haynes and My'Kayla Broadway; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Theresa Fields, Gail Bryant, Sharon Browning, Felicia Bryant and Booker T. Fields, Jr.; the mother of his children, Delrita and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A gathering will be Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY) from 1pm-3pm.
"Do not let your heart be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms, if that were not so. would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you. I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:1-3
