William Clemons, Jr., 56, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
William was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a brick mason for more than 30 years, last employed by Central Construction Co. During his free time, he was an avid pond and fish enthusiast, woodworker, handyman, and first class tinkerer. William was a dedicated family man, who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed and honored by all who loved him.
He was born on February 13, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Linda (Mattingly) Clemons. He is preceded in death by his parents.
William is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Sue Clemons; sons, Michael (Autumn) Neagle and Craig (Leah) Clemons; grandchildren, Nicholas Neagle, Athena Neagle, and Osmund Clemons; sisters, Cathy Clemons Ray, Lura (Darrell) Coffey, and Martina (Steve) Jones along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 12th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be Monday, May 13th, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in William's memory be made to the family to help with final expenses.
