William C. "Sam" Shadburne, Sr. passed away on September 29, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Erma Shadburne; son, Steven Shadburne; one brother and four sisters.
He is survived by his children, William C. Shadburne, Jr., Christine (Patrick)Wentworth, Sarah (Todd) McClellan, Stephanie (Lee) MacFarlane and Robert Shadburne and several grandchildren.
The family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to the Salvation Army, 911 South Brook St, Louisville, KY 40203 or The Home of the Innocents, 1100 E Market St, Louisville, KY 40206.
A private service will be held at a later date.
