William D. Walsh, Iii

William "Bill" D. Walsh, III, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 8, 2024. He was born on October 23, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late William D. Walsh, Jr. and Mary Josephine Walsh. He was a proud Vietnam Naval Veteran. Bill's claim to fame was working security for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Piotrowski; brother, Michael Walsh; sister, Maureen Walsh Culian and her husband Jack Culian; brother-in-law, David Kenney.

He is survived by his daughter, Diane Miller (Larry); 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; former wife, Linda Mamone; brother, Rick Walsh (June); sister, Debbie Kenney; sister, Barbara Cruz (Rick); brother, Terry Walsh (Sherrie); and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Rite of Reception will be at 1:30 pm EST with prayers, followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church (1104 S 6th St, Louisville, KY) on Monday, February 12, 2024. His committal service will be the following day at 11:00 am CST in the Mausoleum Chapel of Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, MO (5239 W Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO).
