William Bell Jr.

William Bell Jr., 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. William was a very lively individual who was always the life of the party. He faithfully served in the US Army honorably. He worked several years for Zeon Chemicals and retired from The Convention Center. He was a big family man and always loved spending time with them especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan, passionate Cardinal fan, and enjoyed attending and watching the games with family and friends. In his own right he was a master of debate and never lost an argument. William will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who knew him.

He was born on May 20, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Pearl (Bronaugh) Bell. He is preceded in death by his Father, William Bell, Sr., Mother, Pearl Lee Hamby, Siblings, Thomas Hamby, Chris Hamby, and Brenda Bronaugh.

William is survived by his loving family, Children, Tia R. Booker, William (Kristin) Bell, III, Shaun M. (Fallyn) Bell; Grandchildren, Aleia Shea, Derrick Bell, Braxton Bell, Isaac Bell, and Elena Bell; Great-Grandchildren, Joshua Shea, Kiyan Jones, and Kaleb Jones; Sisters, Panzetta Hamby and Shirley Russell; Nephew, Tony Hines; Niece, Tracie (Tim) Richardson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Refuge in Kentucky COOLJC, (1716 Prentice St. Louisville, KY 40210). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, at Refuge in Kentucky COOLJC with cremation to follow.

The family requests that contributions in William's memory be made to Kentucky Veterans Administration.
