William Wayne Bates

William Wayne "Willie" Bates, 14, gained his angel wings on October 26, 2022. He was an avid gamer, riding his 4-wheeler and was awesome at doing impressions. Willie loved spending time with his family and could always put a smile on your face. Anyone that met Willie was touched by his heart of gold and his bravery He will be truly missed, but will forever live in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judy Farris; grandfather, William "Billy" Bates and uncle, BJ Bates..

Willie leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Chris Bates and Rosie Farris; siblings, Ashely Huck, Chris Bates, Jr. and Selena Bates; grandmother, Laurie Bates; grandfather, Daryl Payton; best friend, Jayden Glass and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 3pm-8pm. A celebration of Willie's life will be Thursday, November 3, 2022, beginning at 12pm at the funeral home.
