William Joseph Arnold

December 6, 1942 — December 9, 2022

William "Bill" Joseph Arnold, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed peacefully in his sleep with his wife holding his hand and playing Christmas music for him. He was born on December 6, 1942 to William and Elizabeth Arnold.

Bill graduated from St. Xavier High School, Class of 1961. He graduated from Bellarmine University with his Bachelor's Degree in 1966. For many years he owned and operated his own software company, Bellweather.

Bill is preceded by his parents, William and Elizabeth Arnold, and his niece, Sheila Crenshaw. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Janet Arnold; his brother, Bob Arnold; his sister, Mary Lee (John) Crenshaw; two stepdaughters, Perian Walker and Portlan Logsdon; his step-grandchildren, Trent (Marissa) Crofts and Sheena Carnell; his step-great grandchildren, Jaziah Carnell, Ramyah Carnell, and Pepper Crofts; his niece, Julie Crenshaw Drake; his great-nieces, Elizabeth (Jonathan) Drury, Sheila Drake, and his great-nephew, Allister Drury.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) from 3:00pm – 6:00pm.
