William "Bill" Alexander, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022.
He was born on August 2, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Willis and Rachael (Jernigan) Alexander. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Curtis Alexander, Danny Alexander, Larry Alexander and Bobby Alexander.
Bill proudly served our country while enlisted in the U.S. Navy, he then went on to retire from Hillerich & Bradsby. In his free time Bill enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with those most important to him; his family.
Bill is survived by his loving children, Kent Alexander, Lorra Smith, Craig Alexander and Allen Alexander, grandchildren, Stephanie Jarvis, Joshua Alexander, Alicia Lynch and Katie Alexander, and his great grandchildren, Camron Smith, Makayla Seay and James Lynch.
A graveside service with military honors will take place 2:30 pm on Tuesday, January 17th at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central (Radcliff, Ky).
