Wilhelmina Louise(Andres) Beavin

Wilhelmina Louise (Andres) Beavin, 92, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013. She was a former member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and current member of St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church. At St. Joe Hill, Wilhelmina was involved in both the Ladies Club as well as the Quilter's Club.

Wilhelmina was born on July 6, 1921 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana to the late George A. and Mary J. (Libs) Andres. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin J. Beavin; sons, Marvin and Gary Beavin; siblings, Katherine Eberle (Herman), Hubert Andres (Mae), Wilford Andres (Genevieve), Leroy Andres (Agnes), Phillip Andres (Helen); and brother-in-law, Kenneth Renn.

She is survived by her loving children, Janice Schladant, Leo Beavin (Phyllis), Ruth Lynch (Bill), Marie Smith (Larry), Verla Beavin, Wayne Beavin (Pat), Nancy Meiners (Charlie), Carl Beavin (Donna); sister, Florence Renn; sister-in-law, Catherine Marie Andres; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Monday, November 18, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday at St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church (2605 St. Joe Rd., Sellersburg, IN) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
