Wilford Charles Junot

Wilford Charles "Charlie" Junot, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on July 18, 2022. Charles was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Wilford & Georgia Junot on December 22, 1942 and was raised alongside three siblings. Charlie was a part of the graduating class of 1960 from Atherton High School. He went on to graduate from Bellarmine University with a Bachelor's of Science in Commerce. Charlie was the Assistant Vice President of Finance at University of Louisville Hospital and retired in 2006. Charlie married the love of his life, Carol Junot on July 23, 1974.

Charlie loved to play golf and reading. Like most of us Charlie had his moments, but "had a heart of gold". He was a member of Hikes Point Christian Church. Charlie is preceded by his parents; his wife of 47 years, Carol Junot; his brothers, John Arthur Junot (1948-2008) & Dennis Paul Junot (1951-2006).

Charlie leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister, Janie Junot White (Steven); his nephews, Adrian White & Andrew Overall; his brother-in-law, Albert Overall; several cousins as well as other relatives and friends who all loved him very much.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY, 40243) from 10:00am – 12:00pm with a celebration of Charlie's life at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Floydsburg Cemetery (5600 Old Floydsburg Road, Crestwood, KY 40014).
