Wilbur "Buck" Buckley

Wilbur "Buck" Buckley, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. He was born on January 24, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles and Zilpha Buckley. Buck proudly served in the US Army from 1972-1979. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent much of his free time hunting and fishing with his family. He worked for LabCorp for 41 years. Buck's wishes were that everyone wear casual attire or camo to his services.

In addition to his parents, Buck is preceded in death by his siblings, Jasper Buckley and Jean Roger.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 48 years, Linda Buckley; his 2 sons, Mitchell (Nicole) Buckley and Michael Buckley; a grandson, Trevor Buckley; siblings, Charles Buckley and May Miller; and a host of extended family members who will all miss him dearly.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2021 and from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky.
