Wayne Robert Klotz, Sr., 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Robley Rex VA Medical Center.
He was born on February 13, 1946 in Joliet, Illinois to Henry "Hank" and Bernadette Klotz. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his father, Henry "Hank" Klotz; mother, Bernadette Klotz; and brother, Richard Klotz.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Bonnie Klotz; daughter, Tina Leach (Billy); son, Wayne Klotz, Jr. (Cindy); son, Brian Klotz (Kim); daughter, Janine Farris (Garland); brother, Gerry Klotz; and 10 grandchildren..
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, October 10, 2022 and from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at 2:00 pm at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
The family requests that contributions in Wayne's memory be made to K9s for Warriors .
