Warren W. "Speed" Wilson

Warren “Speed” Wilson, age 94 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Mr. Wilson was the epitome of Dedication. He offered himself in service to his country when he joined the Navy. He willingly left the Service to come home and care for his Ailing Mother and found the Love of his life. Theda-Ruth. He would Spend 70 amazing years with her. He had a great career in the welding industry working his way up from the bottom as a clerk all the way up to top management as a the welding floor superintendent and retired after 25 years. Boy did he love flying. They would fly himself and his buddies out to lunch all over the country. They spent many days at the country club playing golf and gathering with many friends, His favorite vacation was taking his family to Dale Hallow Lake to go skiing on the lake.

Mr. Wilson was a dedicated family man to his beloved late wife, Theda; his 2 children, Jan Crone who survives; and Dave, deceased; his 4 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

His presence and wisdom will be greatly missed by all.
