Wanda M. (Campbell) Schmitt, 75, of Pekin, Indiana passed away peacefully on September 23, 2012 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born on September 21, 1937 in Perry County, Kentucky to the late Seldon and Lula B. (Morris) Campbell. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Wanda is survived by her husband of over 54 years, William L. Schmitt; daughters, Connie Goodman (Vince), Kathy Strange (John), Wendy Baumann (Rick); sisters, Opal Brandt, Goldie Page, Emma Sue Campbell; grandchildren, Bekki, Amy, Kristy, Brandon, Jessica, River, Skyler; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln., New Albany) and on Wednesday from 11 AM to 1:30 PM. Her Funeral Service will take place at 1:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Edwardsville Cemetery.
