Wanda J. (Brock) Schnell, 61, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at her home.
She was born on November 10, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Walton and Thelma Bea (Minton) Brock. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Walton Lee and Gary Wayne Brock.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Donald "Buddy" Schnell; brothers, Tinsley, Dennis, Sr. (Deb), and Ricky Brock; sisters, Yvonne Fawcett, Kandie Russell, Wendy Rush (Sam), Susan Brock, and Joy Lynette (Brian). She leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.
The family extends special gratitude to Gentiva Hospice and her niece/nurse, Sherry Stanfield, for their gentle, loving care.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Friday, August 8, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany, Indiana 47150) and after 11 AM on Saturday. Her Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
