Wanda Lee Daniel, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away at her home in Crestwood, Kentucky, on December 1, 2024, next to her loving husband of 72 years, Walter A. Daniel. Born on March 6, 1935, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Wanda was known for her immense love for her family, children, animals, which was evident throughout her life. She was a founding member of the Springdale Community Church alongside her husband, where she made a profound impact through her dedicated service in the children's ministry for over 40 years. Her contributions to the church and for nurturing young minds reflected her love for Jesus.
Along with her husband, Wanda is also survived by her sons, Terry Daniel (Kit) and Doug Daniel; her grandchildren, Jessie, Jackson, Katie (Torrey), Mandy (Terry), Tori, Christi (Chris), and Jenny (Sheldon); her eight great-grandchildren; and her brother, Harold Copas.
Her life will be celebrated with a visitation on December 13, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, located at 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY. A private graveside service will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, located at 2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY.
Wanda Lee Daniel's legacy of love for her family and the bible will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
