Wanda May Boyd

Wanda May Boyd, 78, of Louisville, KY, gained her angel wings and went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 18, 2022. She loved playing BINGO, going to Florida and spending time with her friends. Wanda's love was unconditional and she never met a stranger. She will be truly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Boyd; parents, Joseph Maxie and Lucy May Houck; brothers, Richard Houck, Junie Houck and Frank Houck and sisters, Dorothy Hassel, Ruthie Connell, Gene Burke and Geneva Kincaid.

Wanda leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Charles (Lisa) Boyd, Jr, and Martin Houck; step-daughter, Ursula McCown; grandchildren, Sandra Maulden, Bobby Maulden and Chas Boyd; great-grandchildren, Keona Ware, Donald Ware, Donavon Ware and Aubrianna Maulden; sister, Virginia Barth and special nieces, Diane Lightfoot, Ginger Ridenour and Debbie Williams.

The family wants to thank the staff at Signature at Rockford for the love and care they gave Wanda; especially "Baby", Trudy and Dorothy.

Wanda's final wishes were to be cremated.
