Wanda Louise Boutaugh, 72, of Memphis, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022.
She was born on February 11, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Sylvan and Sarah (Wallace) Martin. She is preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, William Martin, Ray Martin, and Donald Martin.
Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, James "Jimmy" A. Boutaugh III; son, James A. (Amber) Boutaugh IV; daughter, Jennifer L. (Joshua) Lasley; 6 grandchildren, Brittini Lasley, Ethan Lasley, Brenden Lasley, Sabrina Lanham, and James A. Boutaugh V, and Hayden Boutaugh; 3 great-grandchildren, Noah, Rylee, and Averi; brother, Clarence Earl Martin; sister, Ellen Ells; sister, Thelma R. Hampton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions with burial to follow at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Wanda's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
