Walter Kuttruf Reuss, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Walter was a loving family guy and a man of great faith. He was proud to be a part of a military family and served in the United States Army defending our Nation. He retired from the USDA after 47 years of service. Walter will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
He was born on October 21, 1956 in Heilbronn, Sontheim to Donald and Lisa (Kunze) Reuss. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Donald Harry Reuss and Lisa Reuss; Wife, Judy G. Reuss; Brother, Gerhard Hoffmeister.
Walter is survived by his loving family, Son, Paul N. (Missy) Mann, III; Grandchildren, Paul (Courtney Blackman) Mann, IV, Bart Mann, Josiah Mann, and Emma Ottersbach; Cousin, Patricia Ann Rairden-Scholl; Second Cousins, Eric Scholl and Heather (Marc) Clouser, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy) with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Walter's memory be made to Wounded Warriors Project or Veterans Affairs Hospital.
