Walter A. Rogers, age 73 of Louisville, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012. He was owner of a printing company, was an avid fisherman and U of K fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Modie Mathis Rogers; brother, J.T. Rogers; sister, Gladys; and his first wife Ardis.
Walter is survived by his loving wife, Robin Miller Rogers; step-daughter, Christina Cecil (R.C.); step-son, Christopher Spence (JoAnna); 6 grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Fisher and Marjorie Payne (Jack); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral ceremony will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9:30 a.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to the family.
