Mr. Wallace Wayne Jones, age 63 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010. He was a Korean Army War Veteran, was a former police officer in both Jeffersontown, Ky. and Homestead, FL., a member of the F.O.P. and a Kentucky Colonel. He was also a member of the New Beginning Church in Springfield, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Reid and Bettie Rose Baldwin Jones.
He is survived by his son Christopher E. Jones (Deborah); daughters, Toni L. Rodriguez (Jeff) and Robin M. Curtis (John); sisters, Reida E. Smith (Roy) and Sheila Gale Stopher (Jack); 6 grandchildren, Cody and Chase Jones, Arron and Samantha Rodriguez, Michael and Zachury Curtis; nieces, Tammie Metten, Angie Runner and Bettie Jo Hatfield; nephews, Roy and Doug Smith, Rob Jones and Toby Hatfield, John and Vincent Stopher.
A celebration in the life of Mr. Jones will be Noon on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
