Vonnetta Denise Wilson

Vonnetta Denise Wilson, 44, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Vonnetta was a fighter, she started a battle back in 2001 and never gave up. She lived for her "3 Piece" and still was able to be there for everyone. She was selfless, kind, caring, and memorable. She was a die hard UK fan, host parties at her house for the UK vs UofL games, and loved cutting up on Facebook. Her presence was unmatched and she will never be forgotten.

She was born on October 14, 1978 in Louisville, Kentucky to Von Shobe and Peggy Wilson. She is preceded in death by her Nephew, Antonio Wilson and Step-Father, Dennis Bedingfield.

Vonnetta is survived by her loving family, Father, Von Allen (Myra) Shobe and Mother, Peggy Sue Bedingfield; Children, Deshauna Lannette (Carlesha Rice) Wilson, Derrick Lojuan Burns, and Kennedi Lynn Woolfolk; Niece, Antionette Wilson; Sister, Angela (Micah) Harris; Nephew, Levy Batson; Brothers, Von Turner and Ravon Turner; Special Friend, Kendalle Woolfolk; Furbaby, Kane Wilson, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
