Vondalee Stevenson

Vondalee Stevenson, 76, of Louisville, KY passed away on July 24, 2014. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida and was a member of First Deliverance Church of Jacksonville, FL and Valley Community Church in ElMonte, CA.
Vondalee loved to sing, studied opera, and sang in the church choir at both churches. She was also an expert knitter and loved horses. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly, showing her love by supporting them in all of their endeavors. Vondalee was kind to everyone she came in contact with and always gave her time and energy to others.
Vondalee was born on May 5, 1938, in Cando, ND to the late Clinton and Harriett (Nattrass) Stevenson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Ellen McKenzie; and grandson, Clinton Stevenson.
Survivors include her daughter, Cestau Childs-Clark (Anthony); son, Carlin B. Stevenson (Julie); grandchildren, Anthony Clark II, Michael Clark, Shemiah Clark, Joseph Clark, Sean Clark, Akiem Clark, Janyah Clark, Christin Stevenson, Elizabeth Shaw; great-grandchildren, Anthony Clark III, Kendall Janyne, and Aiden Ramirez.
Cremation was chosen following Vondalee's wishes. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 5:00pm at First Deliverance Church of Jacksonville (1957 West Beaver St., Jacksonville, FL 32209). The family is asking visitors to wear any shade of blue, Vondalee's favorite color.
