Vonda L. LoBue, a cherished and devoted homemaker, passed away peacefully on August 26 2024, in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Born on March 18, 1935, in Louisville KY, Vonda dedicated her life to caring for her family and nurturing those around her with exceptional affection and generosity.
A proud graduate of Eastern High School, Vonda's commitment to her family was unwavering. She found her greatest joy in raising her children—her son, Dennis LoBue (Lisa); her daughter, Lisa Payne; and her son, Steven LoBue (Kristel). As a grandmother, she took immense pride in her grandchildren, Cory LoBue (Maddie), Lauren Clemmons (Brandon), Sean Payne, Garik Payne, and Connor Payne, as well as her great-granddaughters, Josephine LoBue, Mary Grace Clemmons, and Cecilia LoBue. Vonda's nurturing spirit profoundly impacted the lives of her family, crafting a loving home filled with warmth and laughter.
In addition to her role as a caregiver, Vonda enjoyed a variety of interests, often spending her leisure time taking care of her grandchildren, and watching her favorite television shows, including Days of Our Lives, Family Feud, and Court T.V. She was an active member of Poplar Level Church, where she contributed her time and efforts to support her community and church family.
Vonda's life is remembered fondly for her caring personality, characterized by her affection and willingness to help others. She was dearly loved by her family and friends.
Vonda is preceded in death by her husband, Jacob LoBue; her mother, Sallie Mae Dearner; and her father, William Preston Dearner.
Visitation for Vonda L. LoBue will be on August 29, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Home, East Louisville located at 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243. A Funeral Service will take place the following day, August 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Poplar Level Church, 14302 Poplar Lane, Louisville, KY 40299, concluding at 12:00 PM.
Vonda's legacy will continue to live on through the love and devotion she led in her family and the numerous lives she touched throughout her lifetime.
