Vivian Rose Franklin
August 13, 1935 — April 4, 2012
Mrs. Vivian Rose Franklin, age 76 of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. She was a retired Title 1 Instructor for Jefferson County Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Gene Franklin; parents, Walter and Marie Tickner Sparks; brother, Raymond Sparks; and her sister Betty Clark.
Leaving to cherish her memory are her children, Tracy Franklin (Eddie Branham), Gene, Doug and Michael Franklin, Sr.; grandchildren, Stephanie Brown (Charles), Michael, Scott, Marlena and Tabitha Franklin; great-grandchildren, Dilan and Amber Brown, and Travis and Joshua Franklin.
A Life Celebration of Mrs. Franklin will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with visitation there from 2-8 p.m. Friday and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
