Virginia R. (Marsh) Sheehan, 69, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, October 7, 2010. She worked for over 15 years at PNC Bank in Louisville and was a former employee at Rescare and Green Banner Publishing. She was also a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford, Indiana.
Virginia was born on May 16, 1941 to the late Edward J. and Josephine F. (Higgins) Marsh in Elizabeth, Indiana. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Russell L. Richmer and Larry Sheehan; siblings, Edward Marsh, John Marsh, Tom Marsh, Edith McClure, Florian Marsh, Sr., Livy Marsh, Mary Sutherland, Eleanora Lohrstorfer, Teresa Sceifers, and Michael Marsh.
She is survived by her husband Wayne E. Schott of Pekin, Indiana; children, Tim R. Richmer and his wife, Debbie of Sevierville, Tennessee, Todd A. Richmer and his wife, Paula of Russell Springs, Kentucky, and Mica "Mike" Richmer and his wife, Diana of Sellersburg, Indiana; sisters, Rose Padgett and her husband, Jim of Lanesville, Indiana, Amy Douglas and her husband, Bob of Clarksville, Indiana; 15 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Her visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Friday, October 8, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and after 9AM on Saturday. Virginia's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, Saturday, October 9, 2010 at St. Michael's Catholic Church (11400 Farmer's Lane NE, Bradford, Indiana) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family request that donations in her memory be made to Hosparus – the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana.
